For the Salmon:

salmon steaks or 1 salmon fillet
approximately 1 lb., 454 g.
½
teaspoon
olive oil
salt
to your taste
pepper
to your taste
For the Cilantro-Chili Sauce:
½
onion
small yellow or red
¼
red bell pepper
finely diced
1
tablespoon
cilantro
finely chopped
1
medium clove garlic
minced
3
tablespoons
soya sauce
2
tablespoons
lemon juice
freshly squeezed
1
tablespoon
light tasting oil
2
teaspoons
honey
1
teaspoon
sriracha sauce
or chili-garlic sauce
Instructions
For the Salmon:
Pre-heat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with
parchement paper. Set aside.
Pat salmon steaks (or fillet) dry.
Rub salmon with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Bake in oven on middle rack for 10 min and then place under broiler for 3 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily.
For the Cilantro-Chili Sauce:
In a small bowl, add all sauce ingredients and mix well. If making ahead of time, refrigerate the sauce.
Serve sauce with fish.
Notes
Cooking time will vary according to the thickness of the salmon.
